We are now looking for a Head of Business Development to join us and drive value and growth across our Media Networks portfolio. 
About Us 
Having recently streamlined some of our internal processes, we have now created a new Media Networks business unit which provides distribution platforms to enable customers to monetise content. 

Combining a mixture of Managed Services (including OTT) this focuses on content aggregation, processing, contribution and distribution across fibre, satellite and IP. This part of our business has an impressive client base, including Amazon, Netflix and Turner Sports. 

We are now looking for a Head of Business Development to join us and drive value and growth across our Media Networks portfolio.

The Role 
As the Head of Business Development, you will identify and develop new business opportunities for our Media Networks solutions at a strategic level. 

This is a vital role within our organisation that combines sales with people management. You’ll lead the sales and account management team responsible for our Satellite Data Comms solutions, as well as a business development/sales team who account manage our major sports broadcaster clients. 

Taking a hands-on approach, you will: 

  • Build an in-depth understanding of client’s needs and propose tailored solutions to meet these 
  • Support large and complex online/non-linear opportunities across teams 
  • Ensure that clients receive an exceptional service 
  • Be responsible for P&L.

About You 
To join us as our Head of Business Development, you’ll need: 
  • Previous experience of managing a sales function and sales teams 
  • Experience of C-level and/or executive level relationship and stakeholder management in commercial and operational decision-making roles 
  • High-level understanding of the satellite data comms markets in terms of the market landscape and technologies.
