We are recruiting for a Sales Director to implement an EMEA sales strategy, based in London. The right candidate will be responsible for the successful introduction of our new orchestration solution as part of our service portfolio and growing our list of customers

 

Position overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of the company sales strategy and growth primarily within UK and Europe. As such, the role demands client focus, professionalism and attention to detail.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Identify new sales opportunities within UK and Europe.
  • To produce and implement a Sales strategy for our services in UK and Europe.
  • Develop and grow relationships with existing and new clients.

  • To have an in-depth understanding of our digital services, rates, policies, and procedures and accurately present them to potential clients.
  • Identify client requirements and budgets in order to negotiate and close deals effectively.
  • Ensure that reports on important business metrics are tracked and collated.
  • Attend relevant industry events and provide market knowledge and trends.
  • Manage contract drafting, negotiation and execution.
  • To assist in the collation and development of effective marketing materials.
  • Undertake sales trips within the UK and Europe as required.
  • To set a professional example to other team members, as well as being positive and proactive.

Skills/Experience:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in TV/Digital Media sector with 5+ years’ experience selling Digital Solutions and Services
  • Strong client contact network within the broadcast and digital field across EMEA
  • Well respected/known within their field; Positive Industry profile a must; Strong networking skills and ability to network
  • Experience with managing large contracts or RFP/bids and managing a UK/EMEA sales team
  • Experience managing multi-million-pound sales budgets
  • Selling into media and entertainment industries and with large platform entities
  • Establish and manage key sales reporting and metrics
  • Good technical understanding of OTT, SVOD, TVOD, AVOD, Content Distribution   
  • Excellent presenting and pitching skills – experience of presenting to executive clients.
  • Must have the ability to lead/influence at all levels
  • Fits well within a small dedicated team.
