Executive Assistant to Joint CEOs and Creative Director

Role overview:

This wonderful opportunity would suit a career EA who is passionate about TV, or an experienced Assistant looking to spend a minimum of 3 years in this exciting role. 

Experience in supporting senior executives is essential. 

Working with a more junior-level assistant to support this incredibly busy team, the role spans all elements of the script-to-screen process and areas of the business.

You will assist the CEOs and CD in the day-to-day running of their busy diaries, and to provide them with assistance across all areas of the business as required, including but not limited to, making travel arrangements, drafting email responses and providing summary notes from meetings. Thinking ahead and anticipating their needs with a keen eye for detail.

You will seek to improve ways of working, streamlining and optimising processes across the company and within office management where appropriate.


You will act as a key point of contact for external queries and the company as a whole.


Key Responsibilities and Outputs


Assisting the CEOs and CD:

  • Manage dairies and organise external meetings
  • Responsible for liaising with the Post Production Supervisor in the management of Post Production Schedules
  • Oversee the Team Assistant PA and organise joint workload
  • Organise local, national, and international travel & accommodation, and where necessary long distance trips to LA
  • IT troubleshooting for the CEOs and CD as required
  • Responsible for reconciling company credit cards on a monthly basis for CEOs and CD
  • Availability checking of HoDs and keeping of lists and databases of the same
  • Printing off of all scripts and amendments to ensure that the CEOs and CD always have the latest scripts to hand
  • Keeping production contact lists, schedules as necessary for active productions
  • Organising submission of programmes for Awards and all follow up administration
  • Organising screenings as required
  • Party management as required
  • Answering phones, making teas/coffees, etc. as required, accepting deliveries
  • Covering for the other Assistant’s holidays, lunch breaks, etc.
  • Running effective and timely administrative and filing systems
  • Updating and maintaining key contact lists and databases with pertinent information for the CEOs and Creative Director.
  • Maintaining PR cutting file and related material
  • Website – ensuring the website is kept up to date
  • Social Media – ensuring social media activity is up to date
  • Ad hoc project work.

Required skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Previous experience of working at Executive PA level is essential, ideally within a television environment
  • Must have excellent knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (Ability to be part of a team, work well with others in an open-plan department and deal politely with visitors from other companies)
  • Professional communication and telephone manner
  • Ability to cope in a very busy environment and to perform in high-pressured situations, to be able to prioritise and cope with several tasks at once – to be calm and level-headed
  • To have demonstrable initiative and quick thinking, but also be able to respond to instruction and have a willingness to do whatever is required
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively without supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritise and delegate where appropriate
  • To possess a passion for television and a keen interest in the work produced by the company
  • A flexibility and willingness to get the job done
  • Discretion and integrity are essential.
