Legal Counsel, International Broadcaster - C4990
We're now searching for a qualified lawyer with previous experience in an international media company on behalf of our client, a global news broadcaster.


Our client is a well-established multimedia news channel with reach across traditional and digital platforms.




This is a highly visible role which will involve supporting the business across a broad range of legal issues.


Key responsibilities include:

  • The provision of excellent drafting; negotiating and management of contracts.
  • Intellectual Property Management - Developing IP regulatory policy; responsible for video production & copyrights related procurements
  • Key Projects Support
  • Compliance and Regulatory Policy Management
  • Corporate Information Management
  • Providing accurate and timely counsel to employees in a variety of legal topics.




A fully qualified lawyer, you will  have either worked in-house for a media / entertainment company or a law firm specialising in the media sector. You should also ideally have prior experience working for a multinational corporation.


You will also demonstrate: 

  • A deep knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework particularly in EMEA; experience in compliance and the ability to specify internal governance policies
  •  A detailed understanding of contract, commercial, employment and intellectual property law.
