An exciting opportunity to propel growth for a leading Media & Entertainment Research consultancy in their London division.


Strong career progression to a leadership role is envisioned for the successful candidate.

The COMPANY

Our client is part of a pan-European Group which offers bespoke qualitative research services and content insights on behalf of leading broadcasters, VOD platforms and content owners globally.

 

The ROLE

The successful candidate will manage client relationships and lead all business development efforts from the London office. They will discuss and analyse clients' requirements to develop bespoke propositions to offer insights and evaluation on new and existing content.


It is anticipated that the successful candidate will move into a senior leadership role within the business within one year.


Specific duties include:

  • Managing key accounts, signing deals and managing contract renewals with global clients
  • Preparing presentations and proposals for prospective clients
  • Working closely with content monitoring and evaluation specialists to deliver bespoke consultancy projects
  • Producing and delivering internal analysis and reports
  • Partnering with international teams to share best practices and key business insights
  • Providing feedback on local trends including competitor insights, customer needs, sales, services and marketing information
  • Pro-actively reporting activities and monitor core metrics, KIPs and trends.
  • Represent the business at major content markets and conferences (when appropriate).

 

The CANDIDATE

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented senior executive with an entrepreneurial spirit who can drive growth. The successful candidate will have an established network of contacts in distributors, broadcasters and platforms - along with experience utilising these contacts in a business development capacity.


Candidates require:

  • Extensive experience within the TV content industry – either in content sales or insights/research sectors
  • Strong business development skills with sales experience in the TV industry
  • Passionate about all content – drama, comedy, factual and formats
  • Understanding of content insights, trends and analysis
  • Proven managerial skills, and ability to lead a small team across different functions and drive team members to deliver on projects
  • Strong network within broadcasters, platforms and distributors across the world.
