A+E Networks UK are looking for an experienced Programming Executive. The Programming Executive plays a crucial part in the Acquisitions and Commissioning Team. 

Providing administrative support to the Programming Manager and the wider Acquisitions and Commissioning Team, this role is a lynchpin, problem solving, providing updates and liaising with internal and external clients and stakeholders. 

A keen eye for detail and being comfortable managing large amounts of complex data is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and organise clips/trailer/sizzles required for internal and external presentations

  • Work with Programming Manager and Programme Finance department to make sure budgetary information is accurate

  • Collate information for, update and distribute fortnightly catalogue updates

  • Provide basic diary support and travel bookings for team members, as required

  • Respond to queries from MarComms, EPG, Sky Stills and any other appropriate stakeholders regarding content.

  • Assemble presentations required by Heads Of Scheduling and VP of Programming for internal and external meetings.

  • Place orders for PSA content via the online catalogue.

  • Update Sky music department and Sound Mouse regarding new commissioned content and provide music cue sheets, as required

  • Enter programme deals and rights information into internal scheduling and channel management systems.

  • Work with Content Management and MarComms to process the delivery of paper assets (synopses, music cue sheets, transcripts, stills, PasC forms etc.)

  • Provide support for original commissions, answering ad-hoc queries for original content, sending out producer information packs etc.

  • Oversee upload of rough and fine cuts to Content select and final delivery of TX materials under supervision of the Programme Manager

  • Oversee the delivery of supporting materials and coordinating with PR/Marketing/Digital/Creative as directed by the Programme Manager

  • Support the Programming Manager in their duties, as required.

Person Specification:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills; to complete tasks / achieve objectives within specified / business critical deadlines

  • Good computer skills: knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.

  • Strong communication skills; to effectively liaise with people across the business and with external stakeholders

  • Familiarity with budgets and programme finance

  • Keen attention to detail and familiarity with working with large amounts of complex data

  • Understanding of A+E Networks UK's brands and audiences

  • Ability to manage workload and work across multiple projects and to tight deadlines, with the flexibility to cope with changing priorities.
