QC Operator & Post-Production Assistant
CreativeDrive are seeking a QC Operator Post-Production Assistant to support the Edit Team and ensure a high quality standard of the company's delivered product.

Job Summary:

As a QC Operator you will be expected to understand quality standards and ensure that these are met by our deliveries. You will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining the high quality standard of the company’s delivered product.


As a Post-Production Assistant you will be expected to support the Editor Team enabling the well functioning of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality​ ​Control – Inbound, Outbound / Broadcast
  • Asset encoding​ ​and​ ​standards​ ​conversion
  • Preparation of​ ​files​ ​and​ ​exporting​ ​to​ ​different distribution media including broadcast, cinema, digital and social 
  • Proxy creation
  • Online delivery platforms handling
  • Media​ ​management,​ ​curating​ ​and​ ​archiving
  • Footage research
  • General​ ​technical​ ​support.


About You


This​ ​position​ ​will require​ ​someone​ ​who​ ​is​ ​organised,​ ​technically​ ​minded​ ​and​ ​with​ ​a​ ​keen​ ​eye for detail,​ ​with​ ​an​ ​enthusiastic​ ​interest​ ​in​ ​broadcast/video​ ​technology.

Required Skills:

  • High​ ​level​ ​of​ ​attention​ ​to​ ​detail
  • Great communication skills - in all forms
  • Team working
  • Knowledge​ ​of​ ​video​ ​and​ ​audio​ ​standards​ ​in​ ​a​ ​Post-Production​ ​environment
  • Basic​ ​video​ ​and image editing in​ ​Adobe​ ​Creative​ ​Suite; Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Good​ ​knowledge​ ​of​ ​both​ ​Mac​ ​and​ ​PC​ ​systems.


Key Terms of Employment:

  • Regular place of work will be in Paddington with visits to Creative Drive EMEA (Dalston). Wider national / international travel may be required.
  • Employee is entitled to 25 working days (plus public holidays and any discretionary days) as holiday leave, to be booked in and approved in advance.
