Sales Account Manager - REF: 466407
A great opportunity to join a growing business specialising in the Professional Audio Visual market. 

Proactive are a leading supplier of AV equipment with fully authorised accounts for the leading manufacturers in the industry.


Based in a busy sales team in our Hemel Hempstead office the successful candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience in the industry and will benefit from an excellent working environment, state of the art showroom, friendly and enthusiastic team and a generous commission structure rewarding sales growth.

Salary - Competitive & negotiable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets through existing and new channels
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships through excellent account management
  • Managing client data, updating client records within CRM
  • Working with the Technical Support Team for general client activities, demonstration days, promotions, marketing campaigns etc
  • Assisting with strategic activities / target growth
  • Providing telephone assistance and advice to clients
  • Performing product demonstrations both in house and on customers site where applicable.

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A good knowledge of Pro AV technology (additional training will be provided)
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful approach
  • Quotation experience
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Administration skills including typing and reporting using Office applications
  • The ability to deliver under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Good oral and written communication skills with strong eye for detail
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering the role
  • Experience of meeting targets and deadlines and working under pressure
  • Able to demonstrate excellent teamwork.
