Control Room Assistant

Create London is looking to add to the control room team, supporting our busy creative operation.


This is an entry level position based in our London office.

About Us

Create is an award-winning advertising agency that specialises in fulfilling the creative needs of film, television, gaming and branding clients.  We provide a creative, fun, and informal working environment, as well as a well-stocked kitchen.  

 

The Control Room is the core of the operation.  The team are responsible for supporting the creative departments and ensuring they have the media they need, as well as transferring material to and from clients and between internal and external resources.  

 

About the Role

The role comes with tremendous growth potential and is a great training ground for someone aiming for a career in creative production such as an aspiring motion graphics designer, creative producer, copywriter, music supervisor, post production operator, media technician or video editor.    

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling of all digital materials through the full creative process; incoming media, organising presentations, preparing sequences for post-production and client deliverables  
  • Library management of sound effects, commercial and production audio, music and compiling music cue sheets
  • Maintaining proper organisation of all internal digital workflows & folder structures
  • Producing deliverables for broadcast, public presentation, online use, client presentations etc. 
  • Assisting in games capture and asset creation
  • Quality Control.

 

Candidate Profile

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail and diligence 
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal  
  • A drive to succeed in a pressured environment
  • Some editing software experience (Premiere Pro preferred) and a familiarity with file formats and the language of digital media
  • Capacity to juggle multiple tasks with an ability to organise requests with varying degrees of urgency simultaneously
  • A passion for film
  • Undergraduate degree or higher education qualification in film, digital media, media production, post production, creative arts or similar

OR

  • Around 1 year's experience working in a creative agency, production company, post production company or similar environment.
