Sales Director - UK & Nordics (TV Broadcast Accounts)
Fantastic opportunity to join this leading Global Music Tech Company who provide high quality music for broadcasters, brands and creators everywhere. 

You will be responsible for overseeing the go-to-market strategy in the UK and Nordics. 

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing relationships with high value broadcast accounts both in the UK and Nordics.


Experience and understanding of the UK/Nordic broadcast market is essential, along with a real passion for music. This is a 15 month fixed term contract.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Sales leadership of the UK & Nordics territory to deliver against monthly and annual sales targets 
  • Play a lead role in formulating annual and 3-year revenue targets in collaboration with the Global Commercial Director and Finance team
  • Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts, demonstrating your understanding of the underlying trends with your market
  • Work with key account managers to establish the desired go-to-market strategy for delivery across the core TV & Advertising markets
  • Ensure team is properly resourced to deliver against annual targets
  • Collaborate with other functional departments to ensure your team receive the appropriate level of support to achieve your goals
  • Work with Sales Operations and Inside Sales to ensure we establish best practice around sales processes and CRM optimisation
  • Help inform and develop the Group strategy in relation to the UK & Nordics markets
  • Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including music, technology, product and marketing to drive forward the goals of the business
  • Act as a positive ambassador for the Company when representing the business externally

Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' sales leadership experience
  • 5+ years of music/content licensing within the TV and Advertising sectors
  • Strong track record of commercial deal making
  • Excellent holistic understanding of how to drive customer value
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead large, multi-territory teams
  • Strategic thinker, with the ability and desire to execute, focusing on the commercial and operational imperatives of the business   
  • Strong track record of motivating an established team and driving high performance within a sales environment  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Articulate and persuasive
  • Passion for music
  • Marketing knowledge and a creative flair.
