Head of East Coast Sales – C4717

A key strategic appointment role at an innovative music licencing company based in Manhattan. 


The VP of Sales will lead the execution of the company’s commercial strategy, with a particular focus on growing business within advertising and branded content verticals.

The COMPANY

Our client is an innovative music company which licences music to an international community of TV, film and advertising producers.


The ROLE

Based in Manhattan and reporting to the CEO (London), the Head of East Coast will play an integral role in leading the execution of the company’s commercial strategy. 


You will lead on the licensing of music to all verticals but with a particular focus on key strategic partners in advertising & branded content.


Key Responsibilities -  

  • Manage the East Coast team and oversee all operations including sales forecasting & delivery, budgeting, expense tracking and marketing initiatives
  • Build and maintain client/customer relationships while identifying and developing new partnership opportunities
  • Deliver group strategy for driving US revenues through synchronization licensing and performance royalties in core segments, focusing on advertising and branded content
  • Lead the sales and creative teams to execute commercial strategies, pipeline management and performance plans.

The CANDIDATE

With significant experience in a senior sales management role in advertising, branded content, film or television, you will have a proven track record managing teams whilst implementing innovative sales and marketing initiatives.


You will have substantial knowledge of music licensing and advertising/branded content, and be comfortable offering creative solutions to client requirements.


You are an inspiring leader who is able to think ‘big picture’, but also be comfortable taking a hands-on, impact-oriented approach.


Experience of working with Salesforce or similar is essential.
