Pro Audio Technical Sales Manager [Part-time, initially]
We're specialists in bespoke audio console customisation, and we have designed and engineered a range of integrated products to enhance audio workflows.

We now have an opportunity for a highly experienced pro audio sales manager to join the team.

Initially part-time, during pandemic.
The Company

We're specialists in bespoke audio console customisation and integrated furniture and accessories for the film and TV pro audio and music recording industries. 

By listening to sound engineers and mix technicians we have designed and engineered a range of integrated products to enhance audio workflows and we are now looking to broaden our sales reach.


The Role

In this role, you will implement a strong sales strategy to further drive pro audio sales both in the UK and internationally. 

Key responsibilities: 
  • Use your extensive contacts to create new customers and leads for FFD
  • Develop a strong client list and keep contacts updated
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
  • Expand sales into new and upcoming areas of the industry
  • Work closely with resellers to communicate our unique offering and promote the FFD brand
  • Develop channel partner relationships worldwide for greater market share
  • Build and maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales
  • Promote our unique range of products and bundles
  • Represent FFD at trade fairs and conferences
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, user experience, problems, competitive activities and potential for new products and services. 

The Candidate

With experience working in the film and TV pro audio and music recording sectors, you will have a minimum of 3 years' sales experience. Selling direct to clients and resellers, you will be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of the professional audio industry and have solid knowledge of the technical aspects of sound production and equipment. 

You will be adept at understanding clients’ requirements and offering complete and appropriate solutions for their individual needs. Confident with client facing sales, you will have a target driven approach to increasing revenue growth and profitability within a forward-thinking sales strategy. 

Details

The ideal candidate will start on a one-day-a-week basis with a view to it becoming a more full-time role once we are past the immediate effects of the coronavirus pandemic. 

An attractive daily / hourly rate will be offered, with results-based incentives.
