Our client is a global  production company with a reputation for delivering the highest quality advertising and marketing campaigns for some off the most well known brands in the world.




The company is now looking to appoint a Senior Nuke Supervisor to manage and develop the Nuke Department creatively and technically, ensuring output from the team is of the highest possible standard and completed on time and within budget.


You will  oversee the work coming through the department, managing the team and also work as a hands on senior Nuke Artist.


Working with the Head of 2D, Lead MGFX, Tech department and Senior Broadcast Team, you will establish what the team’s technical needs are and ensure the output of the VFX department is developing technically and creatively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Line managing staff and freelancers (training, performance management, recruitment, holiday, sickness etc)  
  • Allocating work to team and overseeing workload
  • Attending shoots physical and virtually
  • Researching advances in visual effects technology to help with the development of the department
  • Taking part in briefings with Producers on upcoming projects
  • Testing new hardware/software, problem solving and troubleshooting. Updating Nuke Python environment
  • Planning, developing and documenting new workflows and best practises.




With a significant background in Nuke and experience in managing and developing a team, you will have an excellent knowledge of post production workflows and an deep understanding of Nuke Studio, Flame, After Effects, Resolve, Maya, C4D.


Specialising in advertising and branded content, you will have an excellent technical understanding of render technologies (real-time & non-real-time), Windows, Mac & Linux Nuke Environments, Python scripting.


You will be skilled at managing and developing a team of people and have a strong working knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting, file formats (2d, 3d, artwork, photography), green and blue screen, high speed photography, client attend sessions, 3D assets; geometry, scenes, rigs, scanned data, Edit / VFX conforms, 2D Workflows; acquisition, offline, conform, online, grade, delivery, and grading; Resolve, Baselight
