This is a hugely exciting role for an experienced Video Content Producer that specialises in producing ORIGINAL short films/docs/explainer content for the YouTube audience.

Permanent role - London based.

Ideal candidate will come from a Digital Video Journalistic background.

This is a very unique opportunity for an experienced Video Content Producer to join a hugely successful and dynamic start up company which has exceeded over 1 million subscribers to their YouTube Channel and has been named by The Times as one of the 20 best educational YouTube channels in the world!

With a global viewership of over 18 million users, they are looking for an experienced video Content Producer who can demonstrate a background within a high profile broadcast or Digital background who specialises in producing creative and compelling storytelling content within the factual ent, documentaries or explainer content genre.

Location:   London UK - Successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK and be based in or around London.

My client is the world's leading video publisher for construction. Their mission is to fundamentally change the world's perception of this critical industry through their content.

Their award-winning productions have earned them the largest video audience in the architecture and construction sectors worldwide. 

They have filmed inside Big Ben, documented skyscrapers in Australia, interviewed Sir Richard Branson and are the world's leading video publisher for Construction.

We are looking for a full-time content producer to work across their channels, pitching, researching, scripting and leading the production of outstanding video content.

The ideal candidate will be able to research and track down stories key trends and developments across their subject areas, devising highly creative and compelling ways to cover them with impactful video content that appeals to a mainstream audience.

The team has a passion for bringing stories to our audience in an engaging way that stops them in their tracks. They help talented, creative and driven professionals to make an impact and change the world with their work.

*Candidates should have at least three years' experience in a video content producer role* with experience of working within high end broadcast/digital productions.

What you will do:
  • Research relevant trends and stories that fit with their editorial tone of voice.
  • Devise and pitch highly creative and compelling ways to cover their subject area with impactful video content.
  • Develop storyboards and scripts for video content in a timely manner, working with story editors to perfect and craft the most engaging results. 
  • Research and secure third party assets and visual evidence for videos (including licenses and releases).
  • Oversee the production process of the video content that you are responsible for.
  • Generate and maintain sources and contacts to build your reporting network.
  • Collaborate with editorial leaders in all coverage areas to ensure that their deep reporting and expert analysis is reflected in every video.
  • Ensure that all journalistic and legal standards are followed at all times.
  • Create original social copy and posts.
  • What you will bring:
