THE COMPANY:

and exciting content on a global scale. They serve clients in all markets
including sport, media, news, and entertainment, and their projects are on a
global scale.
THE ROLE:
Based
in our client’s north London office, the Engineering Manager will lead,
motivate and develop the high calibre Projects Engineers who deliver
international outside broadcast projects.
Responsibilities
will also include:
- Rostering engineering teams,
working closely with Production & Management
- Leading and managing the adoption
of new technology
- Working closely with other
internal departments including the workshop and warehouse
- Managing equipment maintenance
schedule
- Maintaining IP broadcast
infrastructure
- Driving development &
training within engineering teams
- Attending projects on site in
the UK and overseas where necessary.
THE PERSON:
With a strong
background in OB Engineering, and ideally flypacks, you will have demonstrable
experience in managing engineering teams. You will be an excellent empathetic communicator,
and able to utilise strong leadership skills to motivate and support staff.
Passionate about
the broadcast industry, you should be up to date with technology, and aware of
new industry trends.
Experience of
workflow and system design, AutoCAD, Visio and Lucidchart is also important.
