Finance Manager – L5078

Are you a finance professional looking for your next role in a fast paced factual production company? 

Do you have experience in both production accounting and general company finance?

Our client is one of the UK’s leading production companies, known for producing high-quality factual television at scale, and for award-winning documentaries.




Reporting into the Finance Director, your main responsibility will be managing both production and corporate accounting.


Responsibilities include:

  • Production Accounting
  • General corporate accounting – e.g.: being responsible for the intercompany accounts, cash flow forecasting, assisting with the end of year audit etc.
  • Payroll
  • Managing the sales ledger
  • Supervising the Accounts Assistant who looks after the purchase ledger.




With previous experience in a busy production company, you will be competent handling the production accounting for factual television shows. 

Equally, you will be confident supporting the Finance Director with the usual monthly accounting tasks such as cashflow forecasting, bank reconciliation and VAT. Previous management accounting experience is not necessary for this role, but any knowledge would, of course be useful.


Although not essential, experience of using Sage50 would be beneficial.
