Production Manager, Branded Content
Reporting to the Production Executive, the Production Manager will provide operational management of production budgets and schedules within the Branded Content department.
The Role
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Working on the Branded Content division within the Cross Channel and Branded Content department
  • Providing operational management of production budgets and schedules of all productions
  • Management of client relations (including IMG sales, Mercedes, Mastercard, UPS)
  • Assisting the Executive Producer/Producer in overseeing the production strategy and team
  • Hiring of freelance staff and contractors
  • Commercial management including negotiating deals with suppliers (personnel and resource)
  • Preparing budgets for programmes in development
  • You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.

Unusual Challenges or Circumstances e.g. shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etc.:
  • Weekend work and unsocial hours possible
  • Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate.

Key Results Areas:
  • Ensuring all productions are kept on budget and to schedule
  • Positive Client Relationships
  • Ensuring all the necessary production and post-production paperwork, contracts, in place for production
  • Manage all risk management elements (insurance, health & safety etc.) within project
  • Manage compliance issues as appropriate
  • Follow all procedures as per IMG Productions Guide
  • Liaising with PE, Sales team, Editorial and legal team to ensure appropriate contracts in place
  • Ensuring all production invoices are raised and to assist sales admin with any outstanding debt.

Person Specification
Knowledge and Experience
  • Experience in managing junior production management personnel
  • Ability to create a detailed, line-by-line production budget
  • Knowledge of production and post-production technologies and workflows
  • Knowledge of archive and music clearance
  • Knowledge of production insurance, health & safety
  • Experience of dealing with International and UK broadcasters, and an understanding of the UK TV and Digital industry landscape.

  • Satellite bookings
  • Experience in more than two genres of production
  • Experience in sport production
  • Experience in digital production.

Skills and Abilities
  • Good Microsoft Excel + Word skills
  • Ability to manage more than one project simultaneously.

Please note: we are operating on a remote working set up until lockdown restrictions have been lifted. Thereafter, the role will be based at Stockley Park, Uxbridge (free on-site parking)
