Digital Sales Manager [C5224]
This is an outstanding opportunity for a digital sales professional with a genuine passion for TV content, digital media and new technologies.

You’ll be joining a prestigious international distributor with a highly commercial catalogue.
THE COMPANY

Our client is a well-established, successful international distributor with a growing catalogue via funding, development, co-productions and acquisition. Being a mid-sized business, they’re able to be responsive and creative in their deal-making which has helped grow relationships across the industry.

THE ROLE

You’ll representing the company's content in the ever-expanding digital marketplace, with a focus on AVOD, TVOD and EST platforms.

Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Plan sales and partnership strategies over the short, medium and long term
  • Develop relationships with existing key clients and aggregators whilst generating new leads
  • Gain a deep understanding of clients’ objectives, deliverables and platforms’ technical requirements
  • Negotiate complex agreements and have commercial awareness of rights and terms granted 
  • Understand and execute windowing strategies within the digital rights space
  • Forecast annual budget and ad-hoc re-forecast, and prepare regular sales reports
  • Help keep royalty payments on track and assist with overdue invoices as required.

ABOUT YOU

This role requires a successful track record in content sales, including at least 1 year’s direct, hands-on experience in digital sales. As a result you should have excellent knowledge of digital rights, pricing strategies and revenue sharing arrangements.

You must combine natural sales flair with numeracy, attention to detail, and a fastidious approach to the (unavoidable) admin aspects of the role.

Finally, you’ll also need a genuine interest in the digital marketplace and its evolving technologies.
