Head Of DTC
We’re very excited to be expanding our SVOD team. 

The purpose of this new role is to ensure DTC launch readiness, then drive continued growth and expansion

    


About the role and the team
You will proactively develop and deliver customer journeys which improves conversion, engagement, retention, win-backs and lifetime value. You will manage the merchandising manager, relationships with vendors and distribution partners, and lead cross-functional teams.

We are looking for someone with exceptional emergent leadership skills, stakeholder management, curious, enthusiastic, tenacious, and a confident communicator with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.

History Play and Crime+Investigation Play are currently available as add-on channels on Amazon Prime Video Channels and Apple TV Channels in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage stakeholders through the full product lifecycle: from definition to go/no-go decision
  • Lead product testing, prioritisation and continuous improvements of all customer journeys on web and app
  • Work very closely with Insight & Analytics and Marketing, to drive audience segmentation and contact strategy across e-mail, in-app and push
  • Proactively engage with distribution partners for inclusion in their sales activation campaigns (promotional offers, sampling), storefront merchandising and inbound comms
  • Work closely with and support the Director, Digital Subscription Services in defining the SVOD/DTC strategy, pricing and promotions, value propositions and business development
  • Work closely with and support regional teams with SVOD toolkit and best practice


Person Specification:

  • Experience launching DTC (direct-to-consumer)
  • Ability to demonstrate how you personally improved engagement and retention metrics such as free to pay conversion, churn, and customer lifetime value
  • Experience in managing relationships with OTT third party vendors (SaaS providers, intermediaries) and distribution partners (Amazon, Apple, Google, Roku, Samsung)
  • Being an effective leader of small cross-functional teams, managing multiple priorities simultaneously, with a hands-on approach.
