Post Production Operations Manager [S5558]

A Lead Post Production Operations Manager is required at a successful advertising and creative production studio, to oversee day-to-day post-production operations at the facility.


Our client is an integrated facility which brings ideas to life in an adaptable and creative environment. The team includes award-winning talent in VFX, Colour Grading, Editing, Sound Design and Content Production. 

Together, they collaborate with their clients to craft campaigns across multiple platforms and disciplines, adopting an innovative and agile approach to creative and post-production processes.


As Post Productions Operations Manager, you will be the go-to for day-to-day post-production operations, whilst supporting the Head of Post Ops and Tech Engineering Leads.

This role reports to the Head of Post Operations

Key responsibilities:

  • Help to ensure the department evolves in line with advances in technology and industry, whilst maintaining efficient processes, workflow and a high standard of output
  • Manage any changes or problems that occur and facilitate successful production completion, guaranteeing all client requirements are met.
  • Assisting with 1st line tech support when required and point of contact for escalation
  • Liaison with team leads and other technical or facility departments within the company
  • Develop and maintain appropriate process and technical documentation
  • Testing and coordinating new workflows to assess suitability
  • Make recommendations for hardware & software upgrades as necessary.


The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and excellent working knowledge of media production processes and services. You will have a general “can-do” and “hands-on” service attitude, utilising effective problem-solving skills and recognising root causes and identifying ways to overcome them.

Working knowledge across all Moving Image Post disciplines, remote and virtual production systems, automation & server-based systems, Adobe Creative Cloud, and an understanding of other production software including Autodesk Flame/Flame Assist, DaVinci Resolve, Baselight and Avid protocols would be beneficial.
