Sponsorship Sales Manager

BLAST is looking for a driven and talented Sponsorship Sales Manager to join our commercial team in London.

The role will require 4 days in our Central London office.
Description

Reporting into the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the sourcing, contacting and contracting sponsorship partners for BLAST’s rapidly expanding portfolio of the world’s best esports franchises. 


We work with some of the world’s best game publishers and brands to elevate their properties into amazing esports experiences - including: Counter-Strike, Rainbow Six, Rocket League, DOTA 2 and Fortnite.


The successful candidate has a track record of meeting and exceeding set targets and is keen to join an expanding team that operates in a fast-paced environment within one of the world’s leading esports entertainment companies.

Requirements:

  • Solid sales background and knowledge of structuring commercial deals
  • Track-record of delivering 6/7-figure partnerships
  • The ability to drive multiple sales leads to their successful conclusion
  • Strong network of contacts at brands in relevant industries
  • Natural communicator who feels comfortable to present at all levels
  • Ability to build long-lasting working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • International travel for meetings and events
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role within the sports, esports or entertainment industries.

Responsibilities:
  • Sell global and regional sponsorship rights across the BLAST portfolio 
  • Identify relevant brands and open conversations with them
  • Manage a pipeline of brand conversations in a clear and efficient manner 
  • Capture the imagination of key decision makers at brands - in-person and over the phone
  • Shape the commercial proposition to progress discussions 
  • Navigate through the sales process and close new partnerships.
