Reporter/Producer - Good Morning Britain

Good Morning Britain is looking for an experienced Reporter/Producer to join our award winning team.

The role requires an enthusiastic self-starter to provide sharp, original content which will inform and engage our viewers each morning.

You will be expected to come up with fresh ideas, creative TV treatments and engaging scripts for a range of stories from the global trade war to the latest drama from the Big Brother house.

You will have high quality news judgement with a solid background in journalism and extensive experience of working within a television newsroom. We expect you to have a track record of producing creative TV packages; consistently delivering to the highest possible production values with accuracy and fairness. Proven experience of live reporting will also be an advantage.

You will be able to demonstrate an ability to write engaging scripts and storyboards for serious news items and upbeat features. You will enjoy working as part of a team, be calm under pressure and have a willingness to adapt to last minute changes and breaking stories. An ability to shoot and edit your own material will be highly advantageous.

Good Morning Britain is on air five days a week, including bank holidays. You will work a shift pattern shared equally between days and nights, and including some Sundays.
