Executive Assistant

STUDIOCANAL’s Worldwide TV division is seeking a dynamic and highly organised Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director and contribute to a fast-growing, talented international team based in London. 
The role is multifaceted and offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of executive support, creative development, industry research.

Key Responsibilities:

Time Allocation:

  • 60% administrative duties
  • 20% script and material reading + coverage
  • 20% active learning and project exposure.


Executive Support:

  • Comprehensive Executive Assistant support for the Managing Director including diary management, travel coordination across Europe, expenses, and liaising with international production partners
  • Scheduling and logistical coordination with production companies across territories.


Festival and Event Coordination:

  • Organising attendance and meetings for major industry festivals/markets including MIPcop, Content London, London Screenings, Edinburgh TV Festival and SeriesMania
  • Attending select festivals and reporting on key sessions and panels
  • Planning offsite meetings and events, drafting agendas and coordinating speakers for global teams.


Creative Support & Systems:

  • Managing script coverage workflow and summarising incoming material
  • Supporting the visibility of the slate through internal systems, including use of the new ‘Pilot’ tool
  • Learning how to interpret production budgets.


Industry Research & Networking:

  • Maintaining and regularly updating a 'talent bible' including UK directors, writers, top show creators, broadcaster preferences, and agents’ assistants
  • Tracking headlines in trades, competitive activity, and industry trends
  • Producing weekly digest reports and competition mapping for senior leadership.


Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience supporting a high-level executive, preferably in a fast-paced production or indie studio environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, flexible team player with a positive and professional attitude
  • Genuine passion for television and storytelling
  • French language skills a plus, but not required.
