The Position
The Senior Producer plays a pivotal role in the delivery of DIT and Digital Dailies projects. You will oversee projects from booking through to completion, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure workflows are efficient, cost-effective, and of the highest standard.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the film and television production process, excellent project management skills, and a proven ability to lead and motivate teams. They should also possess a good level of technical knowledge of DIT and Lab equipment.
Client & Project Management
- Act as primary contact for producers, cinematographers, and post supervisors across DIT & dailies projects
- Work with the team to ensure onboarding, workflow planning, schedules, and deliveries run smoothly
- Build long-term client relationships, ensuring repeat business.
Operational Oversight
- Oversee on-set, near-set, and lab-based DIT & dailies workflows, including colour management, metadata integrity, and secure media handling
- Allocate resources and manage schedules for DITs, wranglers, and dailies operators
- Resolve workflow and technical issues promptly
- Ensure QC standards are consistently met.
Commercial & Financial
- Scope, budget, and quote for projects
- Ensure margin targets are met through efficient resourcing and cost control
- Identify and deliver margin improvements.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and support producers, operators, and freelancers
- Recruit and train staff in emerging workflows and technology
- Act as an escalation point for the production team.
Strategy & Innovation
- Support business strategy development for the DIT & dailies division
- Champion adoption of new technologies (cloud dailies, AI-assisted workflows, virtual production)
- Contribute to new business development and pitch work.
Skills and Experience Required:
Essential:
- Proven track record as a Producer or Senior Producer in DIT and dailies environments, this could be for a business or for yourself as an individual
- Strong understanding of workflows and costings in this space
- An established network of clients and production contacts
- Deep technical knowledge of digital cinema workflows, camera formats, colour science, and metadata
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills; able to manage multiple projects and effectively lead a multiskilled team
- Strong commercial acumen (budgeting, margin management)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with cloud-based dailies platforms
- Knowledge of VFX pulls, conform workflows, and editorial crossovers
- Familiarity with emerging virtual production workflows.
