Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a Global PR Lead to join our Marketing team on a maternity cover contract from late June.
Sitting within the Marketing team and working directly into the CMO, this role requires a global view, working across UK and USA press as a priority. As Global PR Lead for the Little Dot Studios group, you will be responsible for all trade PR output across our social media agency, digital TV and media network, and in-house production studio, as well as our sport specialist branded content production company, WING. You will also be leading trade and consumer PR outreach for our SVOD and podcast network, History Hit.
We’re interested in highly experienced, senior PR professionals to be responsible for delivering our PR strategy, elevating our reputation, strengthening our media relationships and ensuring we shout louder about our achievements. HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
PR Strategy & Leadership
Lead annual PR strategy delivery and manage our (fabulous) PR Executive
Proactively find global PR opportunities for Little Dot Studios, WING, and History Hit (UK, Germany, ANZ, USA)
Prepare and present strategic communications reports, insights, and recommendations
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and lead crisis communication when needed.
Thought Leadership & Media Relations
Build strong relationships with key industry and consumer publications
Lead earned speaker opportunity pitching (incl. leadership pitching) and messaging
Support paid speaking opportunities with Marketing and attend industry events for spokesperson support and networking
Manage regular thought leadership pitching
Draft/review content for senior spokespeople, and secure approvals and finalise all assets.
Press Office & Awards
Draft and manage press releases, overseeing sign-off with stakeholders
Ensure monthly History Hit listings promoting SVOD, podcast, and YouTube content
Lead the Awards Strategy, overseeing submissions (PR Executive delivers day-to-day)
Support quarterly/annual reporting with insights and narrative
Corporate Comms & Marketing Support
Oversee PR-related social content on owned channels
Maintain and evolve company boilerplates and core messaging
Support key group brands (History Hit and WING)
Provide event and campaign support to the broader Marketing team as required.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything
An outstanding media contacts list and proven ability to secure top-tier coverage
Strong experience in advertising / marketing industry trade PR in the UK and USA (agency or in-house)
First-rate news sense and the ability to spot a story quickly
Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
Excellent project management and organisational skills
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and C-suite spokespeople
A friendly, warm, collaborative approach with the ability to also operate independently
A motivated, proactive, results-driven mindset - whilst also knowing when to pick your battles or take shortcuts without impacting output.
While not mandatory, a deep understanding of digital content, social video and branded content, specifically within Sports or Entertainment marketing, is greatly desired; additionally, experience working with US press is a huge plus.
