This is a great opportunity for a sales professional to help shape release strategies and maximise box office performance across international territories.

THE COMPANY

Our client plays an important role within the regional film distribution landscape. In addition to acquiring and distributing their own film titles across the Middle East, and act as a regional distribution partner for a major US studio.

 

THE ROLE

As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing exhibitor relationships and driving theatrical performance across a number of Gulf markets and additional territories.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with cinema programmers and exhibitors across multiple territories
  • Negotiating film bookings and commercial terms to maximise theatrical exposure and revenue
  • Contributing to release planning and dating strategies for upcoming titles
  • Producing box office forecasts, including opening weekend projections and full-run performance estimates
  • Monitoring local market trends and providing analysis to identify new opportunities for growth
  • Collaborating with the Technical Operations Manager to plan distribution requirements, including censorship processes and format requirements such as IMAX and 3D
  • Overseeing the Logistics Executive to ensure film materials are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Managing the Senior Sales & Distribution Executive responsible for maintaining US studio sales systems and internal reporting tools
  • Attending censorship screenings when required and coordinating any necessary edits or compliance adjustments
  • Reviewing Arabic subtitles and trailer translations where possible.

 

 THE PERSON

You should have experience in the international entertainment industry, ideally in film distribution, with a strong understanding of the relationship between distributors and cinema exhibitors.

 

It is important you are comfortable working across multiple territories, bringing strong analytical and numerical skills. As well as advanced Excel capability and the ability to translate performance data into clear insights and forecasts.

 

International market experience would be advantageous. Arabic language skills would be beneficial but are not essential; however, a global outlook and cultural awareness are important.
