Join a leading regional distributor as Senior Technical Operations Manager, overseeing the localisation and technical delivery of major studio releases across the Middle East.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading entertainment group operating across film distribution and cinema exhibition. They work closely with major international studios to bring global theatrical releases to audiences across the UAE and wider GCC region.

 

THE ROLE

As a Senior Technical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with the studio’s technical teams and regional vendors.

 

You will also coordinate mastering, graphic localisation, subtitling, dubbing and any edits required to meet local censorship requirements.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the technical delivery process for all trailers and features, from initial screeners through to final localised theatrical versions.
  • Forecasting and controlling technical budgets for each release while identifying opportunities for efficiency.
  • Acting as the main point of contact with the studio’s Technical Operations team and regional technical vendors.
  • Coordinating mastering, graphic localisation, subtitling and dubbing workflows.
  • Managing censorship submissions, feedback and edit requirements across regional markets.
  • Ensuring all versions and formats required for theatrical exhibition are delivered on schedule.
  • Overseeing physical material logistics, including HDD tracking and returns where e-delivery is not used.
  • Maintaining accurate records across studio systems and internal tracking tool.
  • Providing regular progress updates and delivery reports to the Head of Sales & Distribution and wider team.
  • Supporting internal teams on technical planning for film releases and promotional materials.

 

THE PERSON

You should bring significant experience within the digital cinema or film distribution sector, with a strong understanding of technical workflows including mastering, localisation, subtitling and dubbing.

 

Comfortable working in a regional structure, you will have experience coordinating with studios, vendors and multiple stakeholders across different markets.

 

Strong relationship management skills are essential. You should be proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
