Part of a new automation led, technologically advanced way of delivering the highest quality broadcast services.

Remote production is central to what we do, and our engineers are a key technical link between production teams, galleries, outside broadcasts and distribution partners.

You’ll be part of a small, supportive team responsible for day-to-day technical operations and broadcast workflows across the facility and our remote productions. We value collaboration, clear communication, and thoughtful problem-solving environments.

Incident response & service reliability

  • Provide hands-on technical support during service-impacting incidents, including live broadcast events.
  • Investigate faults, implement fixes, and document outcomes clearly.
  • Use ITSM or ticketing systems to track incidents, planned work, and follow-up actions.
  • Support disaster recovery planning and testing activities.

Change, upgrades & projects

  • Implement broadcast infrastructure upgrades, technical refreshes, and configuration changes.
  • Participate in technical projects, including design input, implementation, testing, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible technical documentation such as system configurations, diagrams, and operating procedures.
  • Contribute to change management processes to ensure changes are planned, tested, and communicated.

Collaboration & communication

  • Work closely with production colleagues, both onsite and remotely, to support broadcast output.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain services.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical colleagues when needed.

All employees are expected to contribute and participate in work activities in line with our management system to ensure the continual improvement of our business.

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • Proven experience in a broadcast engineering or media systems engineering role within live and/or post-production environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ultra HD and HDR standards and workflows.
  • Experience working with cloud-based broadcast platforms and virtualisation technologies.
  • Confidence troubleshooting complex systems both onsite and remotely.
  • Experience implementing broadcast infrastructure upgrades and system refreshes.
  • Familiarity with ITSM or ticketing systems for managing incidents and technical work.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in plain language.

Core technologies
