Edit Support Manager

We are excited to be offering an Edit Support Manager position.

The role will work closely with all Evolutions departments to ensure the smooth running of projects that come through the facility. Please see the job description for more details.

About Us

Evolutions is one of the largest independent post houses in the UK with extensive facilities in Soho as well as our strong base in Bristol.  We create some of the UK’s most popular TV programmes, from Crystal Maze, to Countryfile, and Gardeners’ World, as well as many Natural History series, animations, and short form and commercial content.  


We have recently been working on multiple UHD/HDR projects and expect to see growth in this area continue, so if you have experience in these areas then we need to hear from you.


About the Role

This is an exciting role that we’re very pleased to be adding to our Operations Team. 

Duties will include:

  • Maintaining and constantly improving the standard of service provided by the Edit & Media Support (EMSO) team.
  • Ensuring the output of the Edit & Media Support team is consistent and EMSO’s are trained to the highest standard.
  • Working closely with all Evolutions departments to ensure the smooth running of projects that come through the facility.


About You

Skills & Experience:

  • High level of AVID experience is a key requirement. Adobe Premier and Baselight knowledge desirable.
  • Attention to detail and a highly diligent approach to work are essential due to the technical nature and importance of output from this department.
  • Ability to deal with a high standard of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to deal with people at all levels of the organisation.
  • Professional and pro-active with strong problem solving skills.
  • Analytical with the ability to review situations and formulate pragmatic and sensible solutions to a variety of issues, while also having the ability to approach management for input and guidance.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate others within a team, attending to all aspects of work in a timely and professional manner.
  • Effective project management skills are desirable.
  • In depth understanding of television production and post-production and associated technologies.
