Edit Assistant
We are looking for an experienced Edit Assistant / MCR operator to join our talented Edit-Assist and film studio support team.

The role


eg+ worldwide produce work for many agencies and global brands, from the initial creative through to final delivery and often manage the production process as well. 

In this role, the successful candidate will be joining a passionate and friendly team working for a global company with a strong reputation for delivering content to exceptionally high standards.

In our Bankside office we house edit, audio, animation suites and our film and photography studio, so as part of the Edit Assist team you will have the opportunity to get involved with our senior artists to develop your own skills. 

At eg+ we pride ourselves on nurturing our talent and many of our senior staff began life in Edit Assist.

Specific responsibilities:


  • Ingest, quality control and media management of all incoming video elements, audio assets and camera rushes
  • Transcoding and final quality control of all deliveries (TV, Cinema, Social, Outdoor)
  • Media management on our internal servers
  • QC reporting.


  • Assisting the producers with media plans and technical specifications
  • Assisting the editors with ingest of material, organisation of rushes, stock footage and other elements
  • Assisting in the film studio with production setup (Canon C300mkII, 5DSR, Atomos recorders, Kino Flo lighting, audio capture and playback)
  • Internal editing projects.

This is a permanent position consisting of a 40 hour weekly shift pattern with a 1 hour lunch break which may require late evenings and weekend work.

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Minimum 1 year's experience working in a similar Support / MCR style environment
  • Minimum 1 year's experience QC'ing commercials for TV broadcast
  • Competent computer skills on a Mac
  • Good knowledge of tapeless workflows and encoding to common file formats
  • Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder and a basic level of After Effects.
