Business Systems Administrator

As part of the expanding team, a Business Systems Administrator is required to manage and maintain the growing portfolio of Business Systems used within the Group.

DEPARTMENT: Business Systems

WORKING HOURS: 9am to 6pm

SALARY: Depending on experience

REPORTS TO: Hannah Price



This role will support internal users of Salesforce and Rootstock ERP, as well as contributing to the implementation of new systems within the Rental, Finance, Sales and Systems departments.  


  • Contribute to delivering our team goal of maintaining secure, clean, accurate and up-to-date databases throughout our Business Systems portfolio (including Salesforce & Rootstock ERP)
  • Retrieve and prepare data from a range of sources for upload through Salesforce Data Loader following written guidelines, using Excel tools and functions (especially Vlookup), to manipulate data
  • Help supporting internal users with basic day to day Business Systems requirements, small configurations, best practices, all managed through assigned cases
  • Create and manage list views, report types, page layouts and templates, users, whilst considering current structure and database needs
  • Update documentation on system changes based on Feature Request developments and identified training issues
  • Assist in projects to implement new Business Systems to the Group.



  • 2+ years’ experience with Salesforce
  • Microsoft Office especially Excel (Vlookups / pivot tables)
  • Great eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude 
  • Absolute precision handling raw data whilst following written processes
  • Excellent and efficient translator between user needs and Business System instances in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with people on projects
  • Energetic and enthusiastic
  • Passionate and keen to learn and get to the root of a problem
  • Experience of working within the broadcast industry an advantage but not essential.
