Dubbing Mixer - London

Amazing opportunity to join an experienced audio team within a busy and expanding Post Production Facility.

You'll work across a variety of projects, with many different clients and production companies - UK & International.

ABOUT US

We're a friendly, boutique post-production house with 3 sites located in Fitzrovia, London, along with one in Brighton and one in Newcastle.

We specialise in delivering broadcast content for television as well as moving image for web-based platforms.

THE ROLE

In this role you will:

Handle projects/series in their entirety; from tracklay and sound design, to VO record, final mix and sign off, and completion of audio deliverables - often for multiple channels or distributors
Collaborate with Post Producer and Senior Management throughout projects, to ensure timely completion and delivery
Liaise with directors and production team about creative mix requirements and approach
Work as part of the audio team, adhering to the team’s standard practices in order to facilitate sharing mixes when necessary
Use Source Connect Pro, Source Connect Now and Zoom for remote VO recording
Coordinate with online Editors to facilitate any last minute changes to shows against delivery deadlines
Look after the studio equipment and have sufficient technical knowledge to troubleshoot and fix any issues.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience, Skills and Qualities Required:

Highly experience Pro Tools user
Dialogue editing, SFX tracklay and sound design, mixing in Stereo and 5.1
Experience with Izotope RX software and plugins, and the ability to make the most from poor quality source audio
Familiarity with Digidesign and Avid mixing consoles a plus
Experience mixing and delivering projects to UK and international broadcasters, and ability to interpret audio technical specifications
Completing mixes and full audio deliverables to spec within scheduled bookings
Up to date knowledge of Post Production procedures and familiarity with production process
Have excellent communication skills, including diplomacy and sensitivity when working with actors, presenters, other contributors, and crew members
