The Role
The Media Operations Supervisor role at ITN Post involves providing operational and technical support across multiple departments, ensuring smooth daily workflows, and collaborating on technical innovations. Key responsibilities include overseeing projects, liaising between content creators and technical teams, managing media and archives, and implementing new workflows. Essential qualifications include expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, Avid Media Composer, post-production workflows, media management systems, YouTube Studio, broadcast codecs, and workflow creation tools, alongside strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain an understanding and overview of all projects undertaken by each division within ITN Productions
- To be the liaison between the Content Creators, Post Production and Technology teams
- Support the Post Production and Technology teams in the roll out of updates, technical innovation, and new software implementations
- To effectively media manage across multiple departments, understanding each team’s archive and data retention requirements
- To implement new workflows with the assistance of the Post Production team when new projects are greenlit
- To maintain up to date documentation for all workflows
- To assist with technical training for new operational hires.

Key Requirements:- Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite including Premiere, Media Encoder and After Effects
- Excellent knowledge of Avid Media Composer and Media Central
- Proficient in current Post Production workflows involving HDR colour deliverables, archiving, broadcast standards and QC
- Proven experience of media management within a large asset management system
- Experience and understanding of YouTube Studio
- Understanding of broadcast codecs, workflows and principles
- Understanding of Content Agent and Vantage workflow creation
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Excellent problem solving skills
- To be a client-facing professional with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
