Broadcast Technician - Junior-Level

We now have a great opportunity for Junior-Level Technician (Broadcast) to join our committed and growing team. This is a great opening for a newly or recently qualified engineer, who is looking to build a career in Broadcasting. 

You will be working alongside some of the best and most experienced engineers and technicians in the UK and will have the opportunity to progress your career either within Camera Corps or the wider Vitec group.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • On location, rigging and de-rigging specialist camera equipment. Including, minicams, remote heads and tracking systems. This can involve manual handling of heavy items and working at heights.
  • Being a point of contact for technical queries from the operations team and clients after training
  • Deliver kit to and from site if required
  • PAT testing of kit
  • Prep, load kit and generate delivery notes for Jobs
  • Unload, de-prep and return kit to warehouse on completion of jobs
  • Equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Reporting to the engineering and operations team.



  • Engineering qualification
  • Understand signal cables, basic broadcast engineering knowledge ideal but not essential
  • Desire to develop an engineering career within the broadcast industry
  • Willingness to travel in UK and Internationally
  • Good problem solver
  • A full driving license and experienced driver, comfortable driving a van in London.
