Vendor Manager Executive
BTI Studios has an opening for a self-driven and highly organised Vendor Manager Executive based at our London office. 

The Company

BTI Studios is one of the world’s largest and most renowned localization and access companies in the media industry, operating in the market since 1995. 

We provide localization (subtitling and dubbing), access services (video description and closed captioning) and media solutions in any language for broadcasters, film studios, VoD platforms and distributors. We now operate 25 facilities globally, fully owned by us.

The Role

BTI Studios has an opening for a self-driven and highly organised Vendor Manager Executive based at our London office, taking charge of the development, on-boarding and ongoing evaluation of new and existing external vendor resources for our international media localisation and access services departments. 

The Vendor Management Executive forms a vital link in developing the BTI Studios subtitling and dubbing vendor engagement program and is directly responsible for the subtitling vendors.


The role reports to the Vendor Manager, where key relationships are also formed with the Global Director of Subtitling, Global Director of Dubbing, working closely with sales operations and client managers across the globe. 

Would suit a candidate with experience in vendor management or someone with strong project management experience looking to move into a slightly different area of the media business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain working relationships with the network of high-quality suppliers for Dubbing, Subtitling and Access Services.
  • Keep clear and up-to-date records of suppliers’ services, costs and capacities.
  • Provide a focal point for all vendor contacts and feedback from BTI’s worldwide operations, and ensure key information and resources are shared appropriately within the Group.
  • Support the Sales and Client Services teams with capacity and pricing information for high-volume tenders and one-off project quotes.
  • Take responsibility for tracking and archiving supplier contracts and relevant project documentation.
  • Develop and maintain a performance monitoring system and partner program, including performance reviews to assess, maintain or improve status
  • Help identify priority and emerging language requirements; find, research and evaluate new resources accordingly
  • Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies.

Person specification


  • Proven work experience as a Project Manager, Sourcing Manager or Procurement Manager
  • Familiarity with sourcing within the Entertainment Media industry
  • Specific knowledge of translation or subtitling would be advantageous
  • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
  • Comfortable with figures and collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.
