Production Assistant

Our Creative & Marketing department is now looking for a Production Assistant to join our busy team in Chiswick, West London on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Fluency in English is essential and knowledge of a Eastern European or Nordic language would be preferable.


Our Creative & Marketing Services handle the production of on-air and off-air promotions, branding, marketing and sales material. We have in-house facilities for editing, graphics and audio.



The PA’s role is to ensure promotional material is delivered on time to on air and to all relevant stakeholders. The PA must ensure correct information from schedules and information from the contacts in the territories are included in the material produced.


The PA works closely with the on air and marketing managers in the countries/territories as well as the on-air planning, transmission and programme logistics departments. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Weekly re-versioning sessions preparing material for on air in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Ensuring on-air and off-air material is delivered on time and according to technical specs to all stakeholders
  • Liaising closely with scheduling and programming departments to ensure all on-air material is versioned correctly
  • Translating promo scripts and directing voice over artists
  • Assisting promo producers in researching and obtaining promotional footage
  • Archiving and filing promos and scripts, organising databases
  • Overseeing the creation and delivery of channel branding elements
  • Music reporting
  • Working closely with material delivery department to ensure that material is delivered on time
  • Subtitling promotional material.


The Ideal Candidate

Language Requirements:
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Knowledge in a Eastern European language is preferable.


Key Skills, Abilities & Experience:

  • Excellent coordination skills
  • Strong Communication & interpersonal skills
  • Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop skills is an advantage, but not vital as training is provided
  • TV background is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise workload and to respond well under pressure
  • Adopt a flexible approach and a ‘can do’ attitude’
  • An interest in TV/broadcasting
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office package)
  • Familiar with different media formats.
