International & Digital Sales Coordinator

This is a key role within our distribution team, compromising international, digital, theatrical, TV and physical sales.


You'll be taking care of a range of support services and have significant responsibility for key digital accounts in the UK, including iTunes, Sky and Google.

Experience

The role will most likely suit a second-jobber in the film and / or media industry, who can demonstrate digital sales, physical sales or sales / team support experience.  

 

We are also willing to consider exceptional graduates with first-class educational backgrounds and relevant training or voluntary experience.


Excellent written and oral communications skills are a pre-requisite, as is a willingness to immerse oneself fully across all areas of the business and work effectively until the job is done.  

 

NB - digital sales experience particularly would be a significant advantage.


Day-To-Day

The job is in nature a flexible role, whereby support needed and workload in each area will be ‘lumpy’ and variable week-to-week, and month-to-month, meaning that the candidate must be a reliable self-starter who has the awareness required, and diary management skills, to prioritise tasks as required.  


Responsibilities will primarily fall across two areas initially:


(1)  Team Administration: preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports, analysing industry numbers, maintaining and improving our rights management system (Easy Track), consolidating sales data and reports from distribution partners, logistical preparation for international markets, and various ad-hoc tasks as directed by management across all channels to market.

 

(2)  UK Digital Account Management – working closely with the Director of Sales, the candidate will be the first point of contact for all UK digital accounts, and will prepare and oversee availabilities, presentation of new product, campaign preparation and submission and all other diarised tasks.

 

Once competence in the above areas is achieved, significant opportunities exist to develop further experience in digital, international sales and acquisitions.    


The ideal candidate will be degree educated, with first-rate Excel skills, alongside excellent oral and written communication capabilities.  

 

The IDCO will report to the COO, but also with line management responsibilities to the Director of Sales.  


Functions, Duties & Responsibilities (Not intended to be exhaustive):

  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and submissions including: OCC Charts, retailer sales, weekly promotions and editorial requests, international and digital sales reports, tracker documents, back-catalogue and market-place reports.
  • Preparation and updating of sales presentations and supporting documentation.
  • Overseeing timely and accurate implementation of product information across all relevant retail and market platforms.
  • Ongoing management of Avails and promotional catalogues.  
  • Become the point person and in-house expert for our newly implemented rights management system.
  • All market preparation including management of diaries, travel arrangements, booking of accommodation and badges, and all related tasks.
  • Setting out and completing work back schedules for all markets, including detailed planning of any bespoke company space (desks / booths etc) This includes ensuring that all dates are correct and deadlines are met.
  • Liaison with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.
  • Attendance at sales meetings – taking detailed minutes.
  • Festival Co-ordination. Including, but not limited to strategy, submission and logging of all activity.
  • Creation of avails for UK exhibitors.
  • Updating of internal documents (TV/SVOD, Amazon SVOD, digital platform’s deliveries, EST/TVOD revenues, Amazon PVD revenues)


Character & Experience:

  • A first class academic record
  • Good knowledge of the UK entertainment retail and digital marketplaces
  • Digital Sales experience a significant advantage
  • Highly numerate with proven analytical and IT skills   
  • A proactive and positive self-starter
