Our client is a major global brand, as well as a publisher, producer and provider of experiential products and events.
THE ROLE
As Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for all TV and video material going out of and coming into the studio. This role involves managing and packaging of content for delivery to third-party clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Take charge of outbound and inbound video material, ensuring it is of the highest technical quality
- Work with clients to understand the format and volumes of content that is required to fulfil deals and then create appropriate workflows
- Work alongside the Media Assets Manager to localise and package TV and video materials for delivery to clients, this will include; editing on Premiere Pro and working with third-parties on language localisation
- Update and maintain records to track the delivery of materials
- Manage all content arrivals, ensuring broadcast specs are correct and deadlines are met
- Advise colleagues on any technical queries relating to TV and video standards
- Input into the delivery technical specifications to be included in third-party agreements.
THE PERSON
As an experienced Distribution Manager, you will have several years of experience working in a post-production operations role, preferably in a broadcast environment.
You must have experience in outbound and in-bound file-based delivery to a wide variety of platforms and production partners.
You will need to be highly competent in using Microsoft Excel, Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite, you should also have experience in localisation and digital distribution.
Lastly, it would be highly desirable if you have had experience with VOD platforms and MRSS feeds.
