Junior Bookings Coordinator - Post Production

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Bookings Coordinator to join our post-production team. 

This entry-level role is a great opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in post-production.
In this busy role you will assist with coordinating post-production bookings and supporting the team to ensure the smooth scheduling of projects. 

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, creative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in Booking Coordination: Support the Post Producer team in scheduling and coordinating post-production bookings for various projects
  • Client and Team Communication: Act as a secondary point of contact for clients and post-production teams, helping with scheduling updates, confirmations, and resolving minor scheduling conflicts
  • Track Project Progress: Maintain schedules and assist with tracking the progress of ongoing post-production projects to ensure timelines are met
  • Administrative Support: Help with organising and managing post-production documents and booking confirmations
  • Update Booking Systems: Maintain up-to-date records in booking within FarmersWife, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Assist in Problem-Solving: Identify any scheduling conflicts or issues that arise and help find solutions under the guidance of senior team members
  • Support Post-Production Team: Provide general admin support to the post-production team while working closely with the Post Producer team.

Key Requirements

  • Education: Any course in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is a plus but not required
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a post-production or media coordination role, ideally within a post production or, production company environment.

Skills:
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic understanding of post-production processes
  • Familiarity with scheduling software or project management tools FarmersWife & Trello

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • A willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members
  • Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving mindset

  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong desire to grow in the post-production field
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Strong work ethic and adaptability to changing priorities
