Online Editor/Colourist - Brighton

We have an opportunity for an experienced Online Editor/Colourist to operate our Avid Symphony online/Resolve suites, finishing & mastering long-form documentaries for UK & International broadcast.

This Brighton-based position is full time.

Person Profile:

The successful candidate will have at least 5 - 10 years’ experience in a post production facility - as an Online Editor/Colourist. Grading, finishing and Mastering unscripted programmes.

A proven track record of efficiency and attention to detail is required for this role as well as an established understanding of broadcasters technical specifications.

Technical skills required:

Advanced working knowledge of Avid Symphony, DaVinci Resolve & Effects tools
Experience with Avid Nexis / ISIS workspace & file management
Experience mastering to AS11 files
Understanding of EBU and SMPTE requirements for broadcast
Knowledge of specifications for mastering of UK and International broadcast material
Basic knowledge of supporting software such as Photoshop and AfterFX would be helpful
Knowledge of Broadcaster Tech Specs with special focus on Discovery Channel, Channel 4, Channel 5, BBC and ITV.
