IT and Broadcast Support Technician

The Edit post production facility is hiring!

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and talented IT and Broadcast Support Technician to join our hard-working team.

The Edit is Brighton’s largest and longest established post-production facility. We specialise in post-production for premium film, television and online projects and are passionate about delivering outstanding results and providing friendly, top-class services to our clients.

• Tenure: Initial 6 month contract with opportunity to extend
• Location: Central Brighton.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second-line support for hardware, software, and network issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
• Onboarding and offboarding of users, including setting up accounts and devices
• Providing fast and friendly technical support to in-house and remote clients
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies
• Facilitate the broadcast tech team and post producers.

Attributes:

• Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS/Linux and common enterprise applications
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)

• Excellent problem-solving with clear and confident communication skills

• Ability to fit in to a friendly and collaborative work environment
• Experience working in a broadcast/media environment an advantage.
