About the role and the team
The team are responsible for the final delivery of
Ofcom, BLM and business compliant linear and FAST schedules to our partner
playout facilities. Previous expertise in BSS and/or What’s On is highly
desirable.
The Senior ensures
accurate, creative, compliant presentation schedules are delivered by the team
on time and acts as the primary contact for resolving transmission and
commercial issues. They must have an in depth understanding of strategies to
enhance channel performance, drive ad revenue, and understand the different
nuances between channels in the portfolio. As a pivotal go to person on the
team, they must be confident in information sharing. Additional duties include
maintaining training, documentation, and overseeing team performance in the
absence of the manager.
As the role requires
extensive liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners, excellent
written and verbal communication is required. An in-depth, strategic
understanding of media plans, audience ratings and an agile approach to
campaign on air delivery is a must.
As well as shared
responsibility of overseeing the UK team, the Senior Scheduler will liaise
frequently with the other international teams and facilitate scheduling support
where necessary.
This is a permanent
position. This role will be hybrid based in the London
office, working on exciting, award-winning brands like Sky HISTORY and
Crime+Investigation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure
all pivotal Presentation roles are completed by the team accurately and in a
timely manner
- Coordinate
training and development of team members
- Set
priorities for the team to ensure task completion; suggesting changes to work
processes to improve team efficiency
- Sickness
and absence cover for team members
- Co-ordinate
any necessary meetings for the team such as the promo allocation meeting
between Media Planners and Presentation. Ensure the team understand and
interpret promotional ratings to best effect
- Be
available to answer queries from across the business and take the lead in
helping to resolve issues
- Work
alongside our other Senior Scheduler and Presentation Manager to implement new
technologies or company strategies when requested
- Assist
with key projects such as channel launches, technology changes and migrations
- Prepare
the team for software upgrades and changes to work processes
- Be
on call outside of office hours to deal with any TX queries.

Minimum Requirements:
- Experience of working in presentation
- Good ability to dissect issues to troubleshoot
and resolve technical problems or editorial issues within CMS and/or playout to
preserve on air output
- Keen attention to detail & highly organised
- Can demonstrate aptitude in learning new
software
- Strong communication skills (verbal and
written) with the ability to explain and present complex information in simple
terms
- Knowledge of Ofcom and Costa codes.
Desirable
Requirements:
- Experience leading a team
