Audio Rental Technician and Marketing Lead

We are looking for someone who can, in step with our incredible rentals coordinator, help run our equipment rentals service, but who is also able to assist with growing the userbase of the company by marketing our services.

About the Job

Sound Disposition Rentals is the equipment rentals arm of Sound Disposition, a boutique audio post-production house with bases in Tottenham and Fitzrovia.

We occupy a unique position in the London equipment rental market, specialising in unusual microphones and recording technology whilst also catering to a core clientele of location sound recordists and sound post-production studios. We have one of the largest range of microphones for rental in the UK.

This is a new position reporting to the CEO and is a great opportunity for a dedicated and hard-working individual looking for a role that they can make their own within a creative and forward-looking company.

We are looking for someone who can, in step with our incredible rentals coordinator, help run the equipment rentals service, but who is also able to assist with growing the userbase of the company by marketing our services.

This calls for a person with an unusual skillset - you should be both geeky but personable, interested in unusual audio kit but with a passion for sharing information with others, someone with a talent for promotion and grabbing the right sort of attention.

We need someone who will show the same love to microphones and customers alike. Someone who can be fielding entry-level customer queries one minute, and then moments later be polishing our AdWords. Someone who takes pride in not just each and every rental but also perfecting our online presence. Someone who loves wires, and loves telling people about wires :)

To start with, you’ll be helping us develop our strategy and approach for marketing our services, both online - across search, forums and social media, and offline through a variety of industry pathways.

On a day-to-day basis with your rentals hat on, you’ll be discussing rentals with clients, checking through kit for rentals, maintaining and liaising with external maintenance providers.

With the rest of your time you’ll be working on publicising the company and products that we offer.
