Office & Bookings Support Administrator

Cameraworks is a leading camera & lighting rental company in Shoreditch, supplying high-end equipment to the film, TV, and creative industries. 

We are looking for an Office & Bookings Support Administrator to join our clerical team.
JOB PURPOSE

The Office & Bookings Support Administrator will provide general front-of-house and clerical support to the business, and also work with the Account Handlers to help ensure client bookings are managed efficiently from start to finish. 


This includes supporting with logistics, arranging supplementary kit from other hire companies, overseeing courier services, and liaising with customers on account applications. 


The role also encompasses general office administration & receptionist duties, maintaining sales records, ordering supplies, and assisting the Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Front-of-House Duties

  • A first point of contact, answering incoming phone calls and direct enquiries, and taking messages, providing timely and professional support

  • Oversee the process for new customer account applications, including compliance checks, references and account set-up on our system

  • Keep clients informed on booking progress with any updates they may need.


Office & Administrative Support
  • Maintain and update sales and booking records for reporting purposes

  • Order and manage office supplies to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Issuing of invoices and monitoring of payments.


Supporting Account Handlers

  • Assist Account Handlers with with any needs relating to client booking requirements

  • Coordinate logistics for deliveries, collections, and returns of equipment

  • Oversee courier arrangements using external courier services, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries

  • Source and order supplementary equipment from third-party hire companies when needed

  • Maintain up-to-date records in the rental management system to ensure accuracy of all bookings.


Skills & Experience Needed
  • Experience in an administrative, bookings, receptionist, or logistics role (hire/rental industry desirable)

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to build professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues

  • Knowledge of film/TV equipment advantageous

  • Salary: Due to the wide range of skills and experience expected from applicants, the salary will be set according to the successful candidate’s experience and suitability for the role
  • Tenure: Full-time, permanent
  • Start Date: Flexible, depending on notice period / current employment circumstances.
