Scripted Division Coordinator

We're looking for a Division Coordinator to join our scripted team of a Fixed Term Contract.

Overview
Our scripted team excels in producing fiction films and television drama that is provocative and redefining in their approach. We work with the world’s leading directors and talent and collaborate with some of the most influential figures in film to create eventful, genre-defying theatrical releases and TV single dramas & drama series.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth-running of day-to-day processes and information exchange
  • Updates and maintains relevant production, finance and legal trackers
  • Contributes to the refinement and implementation of internal production processes
  • Guides Scripted Production Assistant in navigation of company and production duties
  • Assists Head of Production with talent availability searches and location feasibility research, maintaining up to date records
  • Committed to growing understanding of production processes, budgets, schedules and cost reports, as well as progressive culture including inclusive recruitment, sustainability and AI technological advancements
  • Manages payment approvals via PMI (Finance System), ensuring appropriate approvals in place, correct coding and liaising with the finance team to help ensure payments are made on time
  • Work under the supervision of the Head of Production to monitor production activity
  • Effectively co-ordinate information exchange between internal departments and external vendors, broadcasters and production teams
  • Provide travel, transport, visas and shipping support for productions, in particular during periods when production teams are not fully on board. 
  • Co-ordinate visa and shipping arrangements etc when projects lack full production teams
  • Manage the distribution of production schedules, slate documents, policies and trackers 
  • Liaise with production personnel to ensure appropriate production documents and assets are properly delivered and archived 
  • Liaise with post-production personnel (internal and external) to ensure deliverables are tracked, recorded and completed
  • Support teams in setting up and maintaining templates, databases and logs. 
  • Provide high level administrative support to Scripted team
  • Work with Scripted Department Assistant to ensure team and production documents are safely archived and accessible


Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a production environment is essential
  • Minimum 3 years' experience at a production company or as a freelancer in the production department for feature film or HETV Drama 
  • Demonstrates initiative, forward-thinking and a responsible attitude
  • Strong ability to manage time and priorities
  • Exceptional organisational and numerical skills
  • Communicates clearly, accurately and effectively
  • Good sense of ownership alongside an understanding when senior approval is required
  • Enthusiasm to learn production processes and industry standards
  • Must have a passion for film and TV and be avid watchers of both
  • An enthusiasm  and commitment to upskill production knowledge and maintain up to date with technological and cultural advancements in the industry
  • Maintains calm and professionalism 
  • Develops perseverance to finish tasks to completion
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PMI
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality regards production matters including with regard to budgets and talent.

Hybrid Working
Our office is based in Shoreditch, but we're working on a hybrid basis working in the office Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Salary
The salary for this role ​is ​between £35-£45k based on experience.
