Broadcast Technician

We are looking for a Broadcast Technician to join our Engineering and Logistics team in West London. 


You’ll ensure that equipment is delivered and rigged ahead of productions, projects are sufficiently resourced and you’ll oversee managing the equipment stored at our warehouse facilities.

This role would suit someone with experience working in a broadcast or video production stores or kit room, or someone who has recently completed a degree with an interest in broadcasting.  You will need to have strong problem solving skills and be confident getting hands on with technical broadcast equipment.  You’ll join an exciting and dynamic team therefore, someone with the right attitude is key in this role.

What you’ll do as a Broadcast Technician at MOOV: 

  • Be hands on with our on-screen graphics, virtual studio and AR graphics equipment
  • Rigging our equipment at studios & outside broadcast locations
  • Prepping & documenting equipment coming in and out of the warehouse
  • Transporting equipment to different locations (vehicle provided)
  • Maintaining equipment in the warehouse.  Reporting any issues, faulty items and adding new equipment to the inventory where required
  • Troubleshooting and fixing issues with our equipment along with additional engineering tasks
  • Working with Logistics Manager to schedule equipment for jobs.  Highlighting issues and proposing solutions
  • Carrying out daily operations in the warehouse, working with other members of the logistics team to ensure all tasks are carried out.


What we’re looking for: 

  • Hold a clean UK driving licence (essential)
  • Be computer literate
  • Good problem solving skills
  • An interest in computers & technical equipment
  • Knowledge of the broadcasting and television industry
  • Awareness of video standards and resolution
  • PAT testing qualification 
  • Experience working in a broadcast or video production stores or kit room
  • Good communication skills and even better time keeping abilities
  • Someone who lives within a practical commutable distance of Park Royal.

This position is normally Monday to Friday, however, certain projects may require evening and weekend working.
