Commercial Programming Executive

This is an exciting role with the opportunity to work closely with our Commercial and Content teams. 

Our Team: How we enrich everyday life:

You will be joining Bauer Media's Commercial Content team. The Commercial Content team is a core part of Bauer Media Advertising’s creative partnerships offering, creating innovative and exciting branded content that drives revenue across our portfolio of brands, including radio, podcasts, publishing, digital and social channels.

 

Within this, the Commercial Programming team are the conduit between the advertising sales team and the Content teams at our radio stations. The purpose of the team is twofold:

-    To create best in class, deliverable, brand-led solutions and executions in response to client briefs that create impact for clients and consumers.
-    To drive radio brand-led proactive opportunities across advertising through the creation of presentations and collateral, working hand in hand with programming and marketing colleagues.

The focus of this role is to drive sponsorship, promotions and branded content revenue across the award-winning Hits Radio Network and Greatest Hits Radio Network.

 

The Difference you will make:
You’ll play a central role in crafting campaigns and ideas for client opportunities across the Hits Radio Network and Greatest Hits Radio Network, ranging from show sponsorships and breakfast show promotions, to talent-led content and major events such as Hits Radio Live!

 

Your role:

  • Assisting the Commercial Programming Director in organising the daily Hits Radio Network and Greatest Hits Radio Network brainstorm sessions
  • Work with the CPD and internal teams in order to write up the creative solutions and put together planning instructions / production costs
  • Manage availability across the Hits Radio Network, Greatest Hits Radio Network, Branded Content and Programming calendars
  • Pulling together collateral for and driving pro-active opportunities for Hits Radio Network and Greatest Hits Radio Network across the wider commercial teams
  • Ensuring all booked campaigns across these brands move seamlessly into delivery by checking booking forms and attending kick off meetings
  • Attend internal and external brainstorms and meetings concerning Hits Radio Network and Greatest Hits Radio Network.

Working Pattern/Location:

This is a hybrid role that supports a balance of working from home and our office in London which is 5 minutes walk from Euston station.
