Coda is a well-established boutique post-production facility, specialising in high-end picture and audio, from documentaries to commercials to promos and feature films
We work closely with high-profile broadcasters and production companies producing factual, scripted and short-form content for BBC, Discovery, Netflix, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky, Virgin Media, Nat Geo and Disney to name a few.
We have two facilities in London Fitzrovia W1, and a third facility in the heart of The Lanes in Brighton.
We are seeking a talented Junior Dubbing Mixer to join the audio department at our busy central London studios. This position would suit someone with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in audio post production, who would be familiar and confident in the areas outlined below.
The Role
Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
Leading recording sessions with voiceover artists and clients at our in-house studios, including studio setup, recording, editing and file delivery
Editing, tracklaying and mixing to broadcast specifications using Pro Tools and associated audio plugins
Taking on creative sound design sessions to meet client briefs, enhancing their ideas to create results that way exceed their expectations
Remote recording using Source Connect/Session Link Pro and hosting clients on Zoom
Liaising with clients and our in-house production team during attended sessions.
Preparing audio assets ahead of sessions for the audio department and production team
Producing music EDLs and time reports for the production team.
Ensuring all audio deliverables meet technical specifications, naming conventions and deadlines and are produced to the highest possible standard
Monitoring and administrating our audio backup and archiving system
Maintaining and troubleshooting the audio equipment and studios.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
a strong working knowledge of Mac, PC and audio hardware and software
an excellent understanding of audio post-production processes
the desire to learn quickly
An exceptional ear and outstanding attention to detail.

an outstanding multitasker, able to prioritise and juggle many different aspects of the role
a great communicator and team player
able to take the initiative and problem-solve to tight deadlines.
Previous Experience
The ideal candidate will be someone with existing experience as a junior dubbing mixer or a runner who has excelled in audio in their current and / or previous roles.
