Planning & Operations Ad Sales Executive

The Planning & Operations Ad Sales Executive supports the PAI Planning and Operations team in the planning, booking, execution and optimisation of advertising campaigns across UK and International markets.

Is this the role for you?

This is a hands-on operational role with strong digital exposure, responsible for assisting campaign planning & booking, digital inventory management, performance reporting and revenue reconciliation across linear and digital activity. 


The role plays an important part in ensuring digital campaign performance, data accuracy and operational efficiency across systems including CRM and ad operations platforms.

 

What will you be doing?

 

Booking, Planning & Digital Operations

  • Work closely with PAI Sales and Planning and Operations team to ensure linear and digital campaigns are planned, booked and delivered in line with client requirements 

  • Work with PAI Sales and Planning and Operations team to provide sponsorship deliverables estimations, based on Techedge or historical data 

  • Enter and maintain accurate revenue data across Salesforce and booking systems, reconciling spot, sponsorship and digital revenues against delivery and platform reports. 

  • Forecast UK & Ireland inventory airtime to Sky 

  • Ensure sales forecasts are accurately reflected in Salesforce and booking systems, with timely updates of deal details

  • Support digital campaign setup, ensuring correct product selection, targeting alignment and system accuracy across relevant ad platforms  

  • Monitor digital campaign KPIs including impressions, reach, frequency, eCPM and delivery pacing, flagging under-delivery risks or optimisation opportunities

  • Build a strong understanding of inventory availability and digital yield performance across Paramount channels and platforms. 

 

Copy Administration 

  • Chase, receive and manage commercial copy from agencies and clients 

  • Ensure UK adverts are approved by Clearcast and International adverts comply with relevant local regulations 

  • Ensure all linear adverts meet TX technical specifications and deadlines. 

 

Campaign Performance, Reporting & Optimisation 

  • Monitor campaign delivery across linear and digital activity to ensure performance aligns with confirmed plans and KPIs 

  • Maintain daily tracking of UK GRP-based campaigns and digital delivery metrics 

  • Produce campaign performance reports with clear, data-driven insights for Sales and post-campaign analysis

  • Support revenue reconciliation and billing processes, ensuring alignment between CRM, booking systems and digital platform reporting

  • Act as a point of contact for campaign queries and support escalation where necessary. 

 

What are we looking for?

  • Some experience in ad sales support, digital operations or campaign planning (linear and/or digital)
  • Working knowledge of ad sales and digital systems — experience with TechEdge, Salesforce, Operative, BTS, Freewheel or Google Ad Manager would be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of digital campaign KPIs (impressions, reach, frequency, eCPM)
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting or visualisation tools (e.g. Looker Studio, Tableau) beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with revenue data and performance metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proactive, analytical and collaborative mindset.
