The Opportunity
Join the team responsible for powering the systems that deliver premium video across modern streaming platforms.
As a Streaming Platform Operations Specialist, you will work with the workflows, tools and technologies that move video content from source systems to digital streaming platforms. This role offers a hands-on introduction to the technical ecosystem behind modern video streaming, including media processing, platform integrations and automation.
We welcome candidates from technology, engineering, data or analytical backgrounds, including strong recent graduates looking to build a career in the fast-growing streaming and media technology industry.
Role Overview
You will work with media assets, metadata and delivery workflows while helping maintain the reliability and accuracy of streaming operations across internal systems and partner platforms.
Your work will directly support the infrastructure that ensures premium video content reaches viewers reliably across multiple digital platforms.
Experience in TV, film or streaming is helpful but not required — we value candidates who enjoy understanding complex systems and solving operational challenges.
What You'll Be Working On
Streaming Platform Operations
- Support the ingestion and delivery of video and audio assets across streaming platforms
- Validate and upload media assets in line with platform specifications
- Monitor media delivery pipelines and assist in resolving processing or availability issues
- Help manage updates, corrections and asset changes across platforms
- Coordinate with platform partners and internal teams to maintain reliable delivery workflows.
Media Workflow & Automation
- Support day-to-day operation of media processing workflows
- Assist in improving internal workflows for handling video assets and metadata
- Contribute to automation or scripting projects that streamline operations
- Help support integrations between internal systems and external platforms.
Metadata & Asset Quality
- Maintain the accuracy and consistency of metadata across systems
- Support the organisation and maintenance of media libraries
- Ensure assets meet required technical and quality standards.
Reporting & Monitoring
- Maintain operational dashboards and reporting views
- Investigate anomalies or inconsistencies in platform data
- Support reporting relating to content delivery status and operational health.
Collaboration
- Work with internal teams across operations, technology and content
- Collaborate with platform partners and service providers
- Document workflows and contribute to improving operational processes.
What You'll Learn
This role provides practical experience with the technology behind modern streaming platforms, including:
- Video encoding and streaming formats such as H.264 and HLS
- Media asset management and metadata systems
- Platform integrations and API-driven workflows
- Automation and scripting used to support media operations
- The ecosystem of FAST, VOD and digital distribution platforms.

Analytical & Technical
- Strong attention to detail and structured problem solving
- Comfortable working with data, systems or technical workflows
- Interest in automation, scripting or technical problem solving
- Ability to investigate operational or technical issues.
Technical Exposure (Helpful but not required)
- Familiarity with Python, SQL or another scripting language
- Experience working with Excel or data analysis tools
- Interest in APIs, system integrations or data structures
- Exposure to video formats or streaming technologies.
Collaboration & Communication
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with technical and non-technical colleagues
- Ability to document workflows and share knowledge
- Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently.
